Is moving to management track better that being an IC as specialist role? I have currently 2 offers with slight difference in package whereby ic role is fetching more price since I am using my 1st offer to counter. But 1st offer being a management track, I am more inclined to it. Any suggestions.

My friend received two job offers for Account Executive roles: a Mid-Market role with Confluent and an Enterprise role with ThoughtSpot. He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?

Cleared two round of interviews in EY and I got a positive response from the interview panel and indeed the senior associate from Talent Team called me and asked me,if I could join within a month and I answered that it's an obligation to serve the notice period of two month.
