Is now a good time to join UBS?

I've been hearing a lot about layoffs recently.

Are the layoffs affecting UBS employees, Credit Suisse employees, or both?

Tomorrow is my first day at my new job after being layoff... I enjoyed seen this post with stats so here is mine:)

2 months (pluss 2 weeks after accepting a offer, just waiting for paperwork etc)

273 application

10-20 recruiting condos (some pass on me, some I passed on because they were not fully remote, salary or long hiring process)

3 companies I when thrue the whole interviewing process

From the 3, 1 company just declined no feedback the other 2 send offer letters

170k base, tech.

Anyone worried about recession coming soon? Hopefully no layoffs...

Need some suggestions: My current company is on a layoff spree and 2 rounds are already done and I can foresee another round coming very soon.

While I am trying to switch to other companies, I’m not able to reveal the real reason from my side for the job change, as if I say, it’s because of layoff fears than it’ll reduce my negotiation power.

What other reasons can I give as I’ve just completed 9 months here and it’s too soon for any other company to take me in.

What's the worst agency team and why?

How do you turn down a golden offer from a very good company after learning that the entire team resigned because of the manager and company preferred to keep that manager than the team? Manager is toxic and micromanage things.
