Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

Have worked at both, Accenture by a mile
Why’s that?
💯 Accenture, PWC is accounting and tax
Oh honey…pwc definitely
I agree Pwc. Accenture is more tech
PwC
What makes you say that?
Have worked at both. PwC by two miles!
PwC
6 of one, half a dozen of the other. They’re both generally comparable. Have some fantastic teams, and some not so - entirely depends on where you land. In the near term though, Accenture will see better projects given digital focus of companies. PwC looks like trying to reinvent itself too, let’s see how it goes.
Would love some insight behind everyone’s choice. I know PwC is known for accounting and tax and Accenture tech, and while pwc os much more well established in the space, it seems as though Accenture is looking to take Deloitte for the org strategy crown… am I wrong here?
It’s objectively one of our most invested areas. Outside of cloud and some niche tech areas org/HR boutiques are what we purchase the most of it seems.
Deloitte still wins in the space but Accenture is trying very hard in the space and it’s clear the org sees it as a strategic priority. I don’t compete often against PwC but from what I have seen we win against PwC more often than we lose. Could be small sample size tho (I’ve lost to D a few times tho) and it tends to be part of a broader program rather than pure HR transformation
Historically, they are the same in the space. Deloitte was always the clear leader. In the last 5 yrs. T&O has been a huge strategic investment for Accenture. The executive leadership team was transformed through outside hires like Eva Sage-Gavin and Christy Smith and through numerous org and change boutique acquisitions.
Accenture may not lead in the space but the nature of the programs/opportunities has increased greatly and the practice is thriving.
Hope that helps!
Is this how we do market research these days? Ask customers. This place is an echo chamber
This is called a sense check, not market research.
Accenture has better projects
Well I know where I’m heading…
I have heard really great things about Accenture, but the culture and L&D and resources, overall, are great at PwC. I can’t say better because I have not worked at ACN, but I know PwC is great for that. Talent-wise, ACN poaches top talent which I would say is Advantage them.
PwC definitely
