Hello everyone!
Can anyone please explain the promotion process followed here and specially at LCCI? If there's any minimum criteria like X no of years in a particular level, etc. followed while checking eligibility of an employee?
And also - what's the hike/increment range usually at the time of promotion?
Eli Lilly and Company.
Any leads would be highly helpful.
Thank you!

You really only need a spot for bench press, everything else you should be able to bail from alone

building on what SC1 said - there are ways to bail on the bench [bench without clips so you can dump weights, set the safeties in a squat rack]
everyone needs to learn to safely bail on a squat as well.
I’ve never said no when someone has asked for a spot. Agree that you only need for bench press. For a squat, do an air squat first to size up where you need to place the safety bars so you can bail out if you get stuck at the bottom.

Thisss lol I’m always scared to squat without a spotter. I have to lift less weight because of it :(
It’s not even about finishing the squat. I just need someone to tell me if I’m rounding my back etc. I’ve gotten a lot better, but once I get to my heavy sets I get a lil nervous

generally people are good about spotting each other - look for someone with good form and moving decent weight.
This is a really good video on how to not die while bench pressing: https://youtu.be/XGkRDcMeSTY
