Is RSM FDD good compared to Big 4 and to regional firms?EY


Moving from Canada to the U.S. Have offers from a regional firm and from RSM. The process with RSM was smooth at first and then dragged on for a month over what I was told to expect. I was asked for 2 more interviews after being told to expect an offer, and I was offered M1 (I'm an M3 in Canada Big 4). I'm a lot less excited about joining RSM now and liked the national firm better, but I worry about exit ops from regional vs RSM.

In TCS, My interview process was started in June still not received my Offer letter.

Looks like, They work very slowly.

Why did you go the RIA route instead of a BD/HYBRID route? Did you start as an RIA or somewhere else?

After how many days the Date of exit gets updated in the UAN portal after the LWD in TCS.
I have received my final payment after 10 days of my last working day.
Because after Date of exit is updated only we can start the PF transfer process right?

Would taking a director of legal operations position (jd preferred or a plus) make it hard to get back to practicing in a firm or another company?

What is the value in professional certifications? ACCA, CFA, CIPD, etc.

One of my friend got interviewed in Deloitte and she was asked to rethink her salary ask in the HR round. She reduced it to 1L less than initial ask. Now the status is in benchmarking approval. What does that mean ? Will they release the offer letter ?

Is it just me or does it seem like everyone in FDD is in for the long long haul? I remember in audit everyone would talk about quitting or how they're only going to do audit for a few years to get experience and then leave. I'm not really seeing the same in TS. Just my observation.
