Any hot leads on Workers Compensation roles?
USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Depends on the position. I left to go to an indirect competitor, and they had me leave immediately. As a senior level employee, they won’t have you hanging around. I started working at my next firm the following day.
At my company,
even the bottom feeders are escorted out immediately.
If you are leaving for a competitor they'll probably tell you to just pack up and go immediately. You should be prepared for that. But in this era of jobs being rescinded at the last moment, I'm more of a mind to take vacation from the current job the first week of the new job, make sure it's solid and you like it, then give notice.
Of course, if you are changing jobs within the same company, the managers typically work out your transition date based on what's best for the company.
Definitely not. I've always given two weeks. You don't have to (clearly), but I see no reason not to unless there's no flexibility with your next job's start date. Why leave on a bad note if you don't have to?
If I’m not looking to burn any bridges I’ll provide a 2 weeks notice but if the environment is toxic and I have no plan to go back no 2 weeks
How many times are you changing jobs that it's become so often for you?
I give 2 weeks. I somewhat disagree with the whole equal to a company firing you. I would relate it more to a lay off and I have had notice the times I was laid off in the past.
