Stay strong guys!

I absolutely love it. I’ve been using one at work for a few years now and have been looking to pick up a used one for ~$300
^ agreed! I would buy secondhand if possible. The comfort is amazing, construction/materials feel solid, structure feels like it provides support in the right places, also adjustable if it doesn’t.
Deadlifts and squats reduce aches and pains. Not sure about a chair.
SM1, stop trying to instigate something here. I’m legitimately trying to get advice on this and your comments are futile.
Depends on your budget. Is a Herman Miller chair 10x as comfortable as another substitute from staples 1/10 the price? Probably not, but if you’re going to have it forever get the Herman miller. They ARE comfy.
Yes definitely worth it.
Can’t go wrong with a classic, there’s a reason it’s in so many offices around the world. Designed in 1992, in the collection at MoMA...
And to your question better than any lower priced chair I’ve been able to find at minimizing back pain.
I’m a Steelcase guy myself but I don’t think you’ll regret getting the Aeron.
Love it and get the aftermarket headrest. I picked one up at retail 10 years ago but I would definitely recommend getting it secondhand- they're rock solid reliable. Also make sure you get your size - they come in 3 sizes and be mindful of the different options/features that they come with.

From what I hear yes. Try to find one used/refurbished, they are expensive.
Check out autonomous ergo chair 2, I settled on that cause i couldn’t spend the $800-$1000 on the HM chair
How do you like it?! I just ordered one last week after my current budget chair started falling apart.
I have one. I personally don’t think so. I bought it used on eBay. Check steel case as well. Also check reviews on wirecutter.com
Try out the Herman Miller embody. I like it way better than the Aeron.
I found a brand new one (still in the box) that is being sold by an authorized Herman Miller dealership nearby for $750, taxes included. The dealership said they bought it in 2016 and there’s still 8 years of warranty on it.
It’s a mineral finish size C chair with lumbar support, adjustable arms, standard height adjustment, tilt limiter and seat pan angle with Titanium base.
With this current situation, their showroom is closed, so there’s no way for me to try it for comfort. I’m not quite sure what to do, because $750 seems like a lot to pay for something without actually trying it.
Does this seem like a good deal?
Hmm good point, thank you. I was thinking more about the age, because 15 years of use seems like a long time.
Sighs. I’m starting to sound like Goldilocks - I’ll keep searching.
Wayfair makes a copy cat chair. Didn't realize that's what I bought until this thread. It cost me <$200.
Oh cool! What chair is it and how is it?
Interesting enough I bought mine during the last economic downturn. I grabbed my Aeron off eBay when a startup went belly up. They threw in free shipping and it was brand new in the box. Fantastic chair. Functional and great looking. I can sit for hours with no stiffness or back pain. Highly recommend.
Think autonomous.ai chair does the same job at lesser cost
