Is the job market doing okay for interior designers, specificallyin North TX? I was suddenly laid off with no warning and I've been searching for a new role since the beginning of Jan. It's NEVER been this bad before. I've tried tailoring my resume, refreshing my portfolio projects, networking, asking for referrals and catching up with my references; the whole nine yards. Nothing is budging. I have +4 years of experience with projects and it feels like I'm an outsider. Need some perspective!

You all might want to start keeping track of overtime. If your making 50k-55k and you work 60 hour weeks every week, the firm legally will owe you overtime.

Considering a move from NYC to SF and my office will be in Palo Alto. Any advice on potential neighborhoods to live in without needing a car? Interior design work makes me happy but it earns less.
