I know I will get hated by saying this. Do you think gay pride events are portraying a bad image about our community to public? Does anyone have any good (free) resources for construction detailing. I’m trying to move up in my career but struggling due to lack of mentorship//training (staff shortage, everyone is busy) I’m rarely taken on construction sites, and if I am It’s because I pushed for it. I’m a woman and often feel like people are rooting for me to fail or “man splaining.” I’m in the process of getting licensed - just having a hard time getting the actual experience I need to feel competent.

I’m looking to switch career from data analyst to interior designer. But from what I saw the interior designer has a relatively lower pay compared with data jobs. What should I do? Interior design work makes me happy but it earns less. How do you guys see about salary cut after transitioning careers, especially I need to re-attend school ( not making money for 2+ years and pay for tuition) if I want to switch the career. Thanks!
