You all might want to start keeping track of overtime. If your making 50k-55k and you work 60 hour weeks every week, the firm legally will owe you overtime.

Ohhhhhh, you aren’t talking about this are you? Because if this is your ticket to fighting the firm, well, I think you’ll lose. Just saying...

Lmao not in America

like

whoops, I meant in the next 4 years, if the minimum wage rises to $15/hr 😂

like

In that case you would have to average 70 hour weeks if you are making 55K. Nobody in this business averages 70 hour weeks year round.

like

Full time would be 31,200. 45 weeks at 20 hours of OT is 20,250. In total your salary would be 51,450

like

So if you are making 55k you will demand minimum wage and take a pay cut? I am confused

like

I know some tax people flat out worked 70+hour weeks year round due to covid stimulus packages. It may be a bit more applicable for them.

Hi I was just offered a CM Manager position at Evelance aka Anthem with moderate salary 100k with 10% bonus. I was previously making 110k with 10%. Recruiter said probably would not match my previous salary and I would have to justify why I want more that job offer. Has anyone ever experienced this?

What would you suggest I should charge? I am more interested in gaining experience than needing the money, but want to be payed reasonably.

I'm happy to talk in more detail if there's anyone who can reach out! Any help with the referral is greatly appreciated!

Lastly, if you could just reach out with advice about the process prep, I'd be very grateful as well!

Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.
