I’m currently at a hospitality design firm in the DC area and while i love working on cool hotel projects, the work culture is toxic. Coworkers all gossip about each other, coworkers pass off blame when things go wrong on a project, and the principal doesn’t do anything about issues. The firm has no structure, workflow, standards, etc. and the company is very cheap and does not invest money into their staff. I make 65k with 4 yr experience. Should i leave?
Depends on where in the country you are and what your portfolio looks like, have you managed large projects on your own etc. What is HTX??
I think that’s actually kinda high. I make that much in the DC market with 4 years professional experience.
