Anyone got salary today??
Hi All, Today I've resigned and my LOD is 2 Sept. Can anyone please let me know for these 90 days salary would be credited only after FnF. Or June'22 salary will be credited as usual, however, July and September salary would be credited during FnF. Please confirm or suggest.
Regards,

From my experience it really depends of the type of projects. I worked at a very reputable firm that specializes in international hospitality projects and NCIDQ was never once a factor of boosting salary or promotion since it's not applicable world wide.
In terms of salary I found what helps me the most is cross reference my billable, hours I put in that year, profit I generated for the firm to help my annual review and negotiation. These info is usually not public knowledge but not entirely inaccessible if you look hard enough and position yourself to be of value to be looped in for contract/scope/payment schedule. I was at this firm for 7 years started as a junior right out of school with 40k and by the time I left I was a senior team lead making 6 figure.
Hope this helps!
Just got promoted to 55k near Toronto Ontario Canada. Lead designer here. Attended a visa accredited program but have not wrote my ncidq's

Where are you located? I find location matters a lot and size of the firm does as well. But to answer your question based on your certifications in my area you are being underpaid. I would use websites like pay scale and Glassdoor.
Depends on the office you work for as well, and the types of projects you’re leading. With 6 years of experience and both N’s secured, you should be making well over 100K (NYC) - there are plenty of companies in NYC offering that now.
Try seeing if you can help with business development and creating relationships with existing or new clients. Join an industry group and help market your firm.
I work in the DC metro area. 3.5 years post grad and i make 65k. In charlotte i was making 60k. I would agree your salary is low!
I landed in Workplace Interior Design which then shifted slightly into Real Estate when I went from the Architectural realm into the Client realm. Definitely a boost in income but expect I was also severely underpaid and overworked previously. The more skills you can build the marketable you are to various roles and smaller firms or businesses which need your skills but not necessarily the specialty.
This is very low. What company do you work at currently?
Ha! Funny you work at PE and are commenting it’s low. Had a friend who was severely underpaid there…bumped up 30k upon leaving for another firm.
