Is there a need for additional approval for a request for a change if the person requesting is an appropriate approved? Someone else is making the change. This is not a development change but used for adding or mapping a group…I’d say in this case not necessary and there is SOD between them, but what to know the thoughts!

I would say that’s fine, especially since someone else is actually performing the change.

If the requestor/approver has authority over the person implementing the change, is the implementer really going to push back if they think the change is unreasonable? Just because someone can approve changes requested by others doesn’t necessarily mean they can appropriately approve their own requests. What’s management’s policy around these kinds of changes?

Random, but valid/persistent thought.

After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".

How can I get over this feeling? I'm over the whole "stand in the line of fire to prove how good I am" bs. Any recommendations for getting over this or possible industries to pivot into to avoid bs interview processes and ghosting?
