Is there any way to keep my security clearance if I were to join Google as a strategy and operations associate? This is a strategy and operations associate role in Google public sector.

Yes, they'd generally file paperwork to pick up the sponsorship for it.

Worst comes to worst, it would just be inactive, but it's such a trivial expense for most companies, I don't see why they'd let it lapse.

Why would you care? You can move past silly government things like security clearances while working for Google

I hear you. I guess my point is that outside of government contracting they’re useless. Sort of like the PMP certification. In some ways either of those can erode credibility in the private sector because they can seem to replace hard skills. Let’s be honest there are a lot of cleared govvies who effectively do butts-in-seats work.

I will say that if you combine your clearance with truly innovative work - think some of Palantir’s stuff - it could be worth a ton.

No, it would go inactive. Even if Google were to pick up the bill to keep it active, you need a sponsoring government agency - which you won’t get working internally.

Ohhh so exciting! I would forgo it unless you wanna go back, Can I DM you? I am also curious about the service offering.

Hi Fishes, I'm in a huge dilemma now. Im currently working with TCS and my CCTC is 10.29 LPA and I hold 2 offers, one with with Bank of America for 17.5 LPA Fixed and with CTS for 19 LPA.
My last date is Dec-30 and I received a call today from TCS HR for retaining me for 16 LPA max.
Earlier, before the call I had Bank of america in mind ahead of CTS for its work culture ,hike %, job security and other benefits. But here in TCS also I have very good role, job security and comfort. Please suggest!!
