Is there anyone at Guidehouse that can advise me on the following: Just had my fourth interview for a Consulting position and received very favorable verbal confirmation from the Director. For a Consultant level position, with 4 YOE, what would be my expected pay range? I am seeking a minimum of 85K but would like to know if this is realistic and whether I have room to negotiate if I receive an offer that is significantly below this amount.

Im a fourth year partner. The clients are good, workload is manageable, have a great team and a great boss. But I'm just not motivated to go and kill it anymore. It just feels more of the same thing. Also, I keep having a feeling that I could be doing a lot more if I were in a startup or in a different corporate role. The only reason that stops me from doing any of this is that money here is good and I worked really hard to get here. Any advice?

I was referred to Deloitte by my friend and he had took 25K from me for referral...but HR didn't offered the amount I expected.. Deloitte offered 21L including PF and gratuity. Counter offer I had was 25L including PF. Tried to negotiate with HR to give atleast 23L. But HR didn't agreed.. Now as offer was never released I am asking my friend to return what he gauranteed..and he is denying... Can anyone provide suggestion? What can be done with such frnd and how can I get back my amount?

Debating on leaving my current position as a Special Ed Aide. Recently just finished my bachelors of arts degree in elementary education but the district is refusing to bump my pay grade up to highly qualified. I have mentioned leaving to my supervisor but get a guilt trip every time I bring it up. Its just not practical to be educated with certs and only making $15 an hour. Do I stay with my kiddos that rely on the routine or do I leave and do whats best for myself?

Hi everyone, I got approved for an L4 position at Google in the Bay Area and wanted to know how much compensation I should be expecting. My decision came back really fast and the recruiter told me it was because interview and referral feedback was very positive. Currently an SDE2 at Amazon (promoted in April) in NJ with just over 2 YOE. My current base is ~150k and TC is ~180k. I read that the median TC for an L4 in CA is ~250k. Should I be expecting more because of my positive feedback? Thanks!
