Visa didn't even do layoffs in 2020. I think they handled it really well. If that's any indication, theyll probably try hard to avoid layoffs this time too

like

I hear they are trying to avoid lay offs by slowing hiring, so my opinion is Visa is trying to avoid it

Anyone currently in People Advisory services at EY? Left a banking job at Chase to go into Resource Management at EY. Considering looking in to the Talent/Learning side of PAS? Hours, lifestyle, pay?

Some student told me he brushed his teeth.

So what did I do?

I gave him a job.

Because that’s what heroes deserve.

Sure, it was an unpaid internship that lasted a week, but hey - now I’m a hero, too.

When I fired that intern (since all he did was brush all day), I told him that Colgate max white is pretty good.

And he left with tears.
Tears of joy (I think).

Agree?

Hi, I wanted to check in on everyone. How is everyone holding up? Has your company made any substantial decisions? I.e hiring freeze, layoffs, etc.

Fellow bowl members, this maybe a silly question. For those of you who are single, how do you find other singles who also like to be child free?

I have been running into this challenge for almost 2 years now that I am unable to get far anywhere with my date when I present my dealbreaker i.e. not wanting kids.

I usually bring it up before even if I meet a potential date. I like to know that we have alignment on core values. It's a waste of time, otherwise.

Hi All,
I have 2 yoe in .net have 4.8 ctc.
Recently gave interview for TCS, after some days one of the recruiters from tcs called me and said that since i had done only BSC-IT they will deduct 6 mnth of expirence out of the total experience so finally i will left with 1.5 yoe, so for that they were offering 5.5 lpa since.

Is ther any rule one who has odne BSC they will not consider 6 mnth experince, thats the reason they have given to me.
