10/23 Thread (BC):
I joined in Accenture as level 8. Prior to joining, I was apporached by a project, and they seemed to not convince with my lack of knowledge about the role hence they dropped me even after contacting couple of times. Now I have got call from another one and they also seem to be not fully sure because my last role was very different. My question is how difficult is it to get a project in Accenture? Will this interviews continue? Also, what are the chances of me getting a suitable role?

Airlines are not profitable and will continue to get slaughtered. Not. Good economic play long term, they will only do well with continued government subsidies long term
Rising Star
I think the travel boom is transitory, should be back to normal in a few years. Meanwhile, I don’t think business travel will ever return to normal. Depends on how you define long term play I guess.
Most airlines are really just lines of extendable credit. Domestic airlines typically make a bulk of their revenue through credit cards and loyalty programs more so than actual flights
I bought JETS at the beginning of the pandemic.
IMO corporate travel will resume. Especially if industry leading tech companies (i.e.: Google, Apple, etc.) are going to require employees to come back to the office.
Also IMO the government won’t let the whole airline industry fade away just like how the auto and banking industry were bailed out.
Same! @ wish I bought more
Airlines were hurting before the pandemic. Cutting costs left and right. No good
Who is traveling? Remember that a large part of airline profits is corporate travel, not tourism
That is true, I was looking at it from a tourism perspective so appreciate the response
