I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?
There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon
Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

What exactly is conflicting ? You think every one must find the exact job at the exact time ?
For some people finding job is easy others is very difficult
...Strange post
This job market is just completely bizarre. People say they've never seen anything quite like it, and the experience of your friends, while sounding odd in normal times, fits right in. It's almost like the overused metaphor of the K-shaped economy, for some firms and individuals things are going well, while people on the downward leg are in a struggle.
Agreed
That’s a logical fallacy. Just because one person gets hired it doesn’t automatically assume the other person should as well. I get what you’re trying to say tho. The opportunities in the market are slim. But we don’t know everyone’s circumstances to begin with. So it’s hard to judge, even with the job market being what it is today.
Definitely
The job market is really tough right now. I have friends who are finding jobs easily, while I’ve been searching for a new role for over eight months. It seems like it’s just a really difficult time to be looking for a job.
Exactly
Two different people who presumably applied for different jobs and have more things that distinguish them other than YOE and similar previous jobs?
Do you think when people with similar backgrounds get let go that they all should have the same experience in the open market?
Guess I’m just flustered though
Did you just graduate?

Their resumes are different. Their network is different. They are different people altogether.
Potentially for sure
