How is KPMG India ? Someone reached out for strategy team at Customer & Operations for financial services practice.
I was told they specifically cater to Indian clients.
Please guide me with the following -
What is the traveling expectation, how are the hours, do we need to work on weekends?
How much salary and designation I can expect.
Current Ctc 30L, Infosys consulting, senior consultant. Expecting 10% hike in August/September.
Thanks in advance.

Keep looking for another job…
Move on… this tells me they make decisions slowly within the organization. This happens often when they open a role too soon without understanding the strategy of the business and how it relates to the position. There is likely some kind of disagreement that likely has little to do with you rather the direction of the role.
You’re confused… done
was in your shoes a week ago. they ended up giving the position to an internal person instead. if they wanted you, you’d know. i’m sorry
Thanks to everyone who has responded. I’ll come back with news
Maybe waiting to finalize a contract you would work on?
Agree, you should keep looking
I'd think they can't make a decision and it's a huge red flag. You still might get the job (slight chance) but it tells you about how things are done there
You interviewed with the hiring manager correct?
It sounds like you’re uncomfortable with the ritual but you address it to him, the hiring manager you interviewed with.
If you really want the job, I would send the recruiter a 3 month business plan. This business plan would include what value you can bring to the company. In addition, this can include previous project, successfully venue added etc. If I were you I still would continue looking for additional employment. If all fails, you can still have the business plan to set you apart for future opportunities. Send this to the hiring manager and recruiter
Why would you write the recruiter a thank you note? They're not the one deciding if you're hired.
Three weeks is a long time to wait to send a thank you message.
Let it go. If it looks around it will. They’re decisioning, any amount of anxiety over the issue won’t get you any closer to the goal post.
it s possible they hired someone else and waiting for day 1 for that person to join.
i would do 2 things:
1) send thank you email to hiring manager
2) continue looking
I would definitely follow up with the recruiter to get clarity. “Hi xxx, it’s been a few weeks so wanted to circle back on any progress for the xxx role. I felt a real connection with the hiring team and am excited about ( list details of the role talked about w/ the hiring manager). Do we have any further developments or timelines for this role? I have other opportunities floating, but want to prioritize my commitment to xxx company as I would tackle this role with passion. Hope to see we are aligned.”
