Everything always takes me so long to do :/
Our Philadelphia-area boutique firm whose practice works exclusively with nonprofits and charities is hiring due to growth. Tax is the basis of Exempt Org work. That is why I am posting here. Great practice working to further charitable missions of our clients. Good WLB (1300 hour billable requirement). Opportunity for the right person to work remotely. When upcoming work things are the only thing on my mind anymore, and sometimes they are even the only thing I talk about too. That is usually my sign it’s time to wrap up what I can and start taking a break or at least try to not take on as much, if I have the option at least.
This sounds dumb, but I'll get into situations where I just forget what time it is. I'll get wrapped up in whatever I'm doing and then eventually I'll glance at the time on my computer and be shocked. That's how I know I'm overworked, time doesn't matter, it's just work, and more work.
I get like that, too. I'm so bad with that that I have hourly chimes set on my smartwatch reminding me to take a quick break, even if it's just long enough to drunk some water.
I get so absorbed in work that I have hourly chimes set in my smartwatch to remind myself to take a quick break, even if it's just long enough to drink some water. Otherwise I'd have no idea that I've been at it for too long. My only other clue is when the headache starts from being in one position for too long.

OP funny you should mention this because I just told my therapist this today. I told her that I have been taking on a lot of overtime because we are so short staffed and I can tell I am stressed because my body is retaining fluid. When my face gets puffy I know that it is time for me to back off the gas a little and decrease my stress levels.
I'm wondering how it became normal practice to not compensate a provider for documentation time. I know why--insurances do not reimburse for it. How was this accepted?
