The google pixel ad has replaced the phones with literal icecreams. The cannes kitkat work took images of people staring at phones and replaced the phones with kit kats.
Very different.
One is chocolate and the other one is vanilla. If you can't taste the difference you got a serious problem, op.
I guess it’s somewhat visually similar at first glance, but it’s a different insight and idea entirely. Kit kat is saying people spend too much time on their phones. Google is saying their competitor produces a boring product.
Pro
Budweiser made an ad years ago where sailors are cheersing with corn after a long day. Cracking open a stalk of corn. The object replacement thing isn’t super original but calling Apple vanilla and the execution work pretty well.
Yet another pixel ad poking at iPhone while iPhone simply advertises iPhone.
Love Apple or hate em, I’ll never understand why Google insists on constantly reminding everyone that pixel isn’t an iPhone.
