For all you retail people...are you experiencing a very slow holiday season? I am a retail manager and I feel like this season has been freakishly slow. I thought we would at least match last year's number or be up a little bit but we are trending down. I talked to employees of other stores in the mall and they are saying the same thing. I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. I just graduated from my bachelors and I have received an offer for 3k per month (incl bonus) from Accenture in tech consulting (level 11), which was my top choice. However, I am not very satisfied with the pay so I wanted to ask:
1. I might also get offers from PwC or Deloitte, are they likely to pay more?
2. Is that enough to live a comfortable life in Amsterdam Zuid?
