Additional Posts in Offer Negotiations
My job application status says shortlisted in Mindtree Portal after 3 round of technical interviews. The recruiter told me he will send an invite for the HR round (10-15 days back) But i am yet to receive any information from them.
Can someone from #Mindtree help me understand what process they follow for recruitment?

20k AED at 3.5 year of experience is quite good. You should consider it as no income tax is there.
Japan is a workaholic country too!
Congratulations on the overseas offers! Sorry to sound pessimistic. If you convert those offers through PPP (purchasing power parity) salary conversion (and not simple exchange rate conversion) - the Japan offer of 90L Yen comes out to ~22LPA in INR equivalent & the UAE offer of 20K AED p.m. comes out to ~ 26LPA in INR equivalent. 1 is below the "equivalent" of your CCTC & the other is just a little above..
PPP signifies that, even if your offered CTC looks big in their currency (or simple exchange rate conversion to INR) - the PPP equivalent gives you an idea of "what lifestyle" you can derive from that offer, in comparison to an Indian scale. I don't see an upgrade for all the effort of shifting.
Worth negotiating with these companies, or reconsidering if it is all worth the effort relocating. You could get better offers in India in that case, and increase your quality of life right here.
Japan best middle east sucks
If you looking for life style change you can try going to Japan. If you are looking to put up a business in future then go to UAE.
As per salary its almost equal as india
Thanks for your suggestion
Where did you get on-site opportunity from ? LinkedIn?
How did you search for these type of jobs in LinkedIn
Most of the jobs are mentioning no visa sponsorship
What is your Tech stack?

Emergency mein india jaldi pahunchna hai toh dubai is best. Rest both are good
Thanks 👍🏻
I am assuming you are single.. In UAE, you would be able to save no less than 2.7 LPA, and it would keep growing for you in the coming years. And you would be closer to home too.
Not sure about the Japanese offer. In Japan there would be taxes and costlier living, I would anyday prefer UAE over Japan for short time.
If you want to settle down for your life, Japan would be a better option
Thank you 👍🏻
How did u even land on those ?
Applied online
Do you know Japanese? I think in Japan they prefer candidates who know Japanese language.
Not much
Japan would have good consider tax structure and standard of living of both countries conaidering other factors also
Thanks 👍🏻
Japan would be better in terms of freedom of living. Uae doesn’t have that kind of freedom
If you have some view against islam and you post something on social media you will be jailed. Mostly muslim friends will do that for you
Thank you for suggesting
Do you mind sharing tech stack
I’m a backed developer. Proficiency in Go, Node and Java
I would recommend you to go to Japan. My main reason would be the culture, lifestyle and experience which you’ll get there which will you’ll be missing in UAE for sure. Also work culture is not good in UAE and there are a lot of restrictions for foreigners there which you’ll get to know once you move there which might sound weird. Switching companies also might be a problem in UAE due to less numbers of companies there compared to Japan.
What kind of restrictions are in UAE
Japanese visa is much stronger than UAE visa
Also as per the economy is concerned Japan is above UAE.
Cost of living in Tokyo is LESS than Dubai but ofcourse you will have to pay the tax in Japan.
Thanks
I think japan
Okay thanks

As someone who has lived with family and worked in dubai. I strongly advise developers from going there if you need career growth.
For a business or banking job, Dubai is the place to go. I resigned my job in Dubai to come to bangalore. The developer community and career growth you get here can’t even be compared to dubai.
I don’t know much about Japan, but i believe they will still have better tech community in terms of research teams as well.
The only things you get in Dubai is tax free salary. But to live a lifestyle matching your Indian package you will need to spend most of it there.

Hi, thanks a lot for your insights, in terms of growth what do you mean, like opportunities to switch are less, or promotions and hikes are less.
Bro, go for Japan. You will learn a lot.
Uae, they will teach you more on how and how not to be

Thanks 🙏
Japan is a really difficult country to live and work in the long term. Even with citizenship you will be a foreigner. So be careful. For the short term there is much to learn from their culture. It's also very expensive.
UAE on the other hand will be closer to India. You may very well have a mostly Indian team. It's also easier to flex in terms of expenses there ( live outside prime areas such as Marina).
Both UAE and Japan are way safer than India tbh
Which Japanese company?
Can you tell which company
