I’ve been applying to SDE roles (FAANG) for a long time but still not getting callbacks. I’m switching into software, building Java + Spring Boot projects, practicing DSA, and updating my resume, but feeling stuck. I’d really appreciate any guidance or a referral from someone who’s been through this.

Next week I’m having my first lateral interview as a junior associate. I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. However, I am very, very interested in transitioning to this practice. And I reaaally want this job because it’s at my dream firm. How would you recommend preparing for the lateral interview?

Has anyone else worked two programming roles at one time?

Folks, I've recently moved to the U.S. and healthcare here is a maze, even if I have health coverage through the job. I've been wanting to see a therapist and it feels like it is quite expensive to see one. I'm on a HDP PPO plan and essentially I was told I pay $250 a session till I spend ~$7000, and then insurance copay kicks in.
