I've been asked what my salary expectations are for a Senior Data Consultant role in London. I have a PhD and 2 years of consultancy experience. What would be a sensible minimum figure to ask for?

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. Is just a hiring manager int. so obvi nothing guaranteed. Salary if offered will be more than 150k. My question is should I accept the interview and see where it goes? Is it really worth it to proceed with a company like Amazon for 25k+. I live in CA so $ is imp but I do have a toddler so WLB is also imp. Both role are Sr. MGR.

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

I accepted a job offer in April to start a few months from now, post clerkship. All conflicts/background check went smoothly etc. Since accepting my offer, the firm has increased their 1st year pay across the board to be higher than my offer was (which was, at the time, what 2nd yeas got).
