I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..
I am bit confused with commonwealt

Thank you all for your patience. I do appreciate it. It turns out having a side project while running multiple proposals is a trifle challenging. That said. Likely not minimum wage in ATL.
absolutely ask to match. I’m sure you’ve considered this already, but does your current employer offer flexible remote work? How about just moving offices if they have an Atlanta presence? A lot of employers are willing to accommodate a spouse’s move…
That's a low-ball for sure. If they don't match are you able to continue the search or do you need work ASAP? If the latter I would take it and still look for a new job and then just leave this experience off of your resume.
That's disrespectful. Is this a boutique firm? If so, I would just apply to another larger company based in ATL.
