I've been with my current employer for 20+ years so I've been out of the job search game for a long time. It's time for a change and I'm struggling to find the best approach. I tried an AI resume screener that's supposed to help match resume to job posting, etc. So far I've applied to roughly 5 jobs. 3 rejections without an interview, a couple more that have not responded yet. I know it's early in the process but it's discouraging. Any advice?

Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I know I can essentially get any sales job I want in finance IE: financial advisor etc. but don’t want to be stuck in sales forever. Any advice?

I’m a financial advisor with jpmorgan and i verbally accepted a new job in private banking with another firm. This is my first time transferring licenses. Should i wait to give my two weeks notice until my new firms hr department clears me and gives me a start date or as soon as i sign the offer letter?

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?
