I’ve been with SS&C Technologies, Inc. for almost 2 years, was “promoted” as a phone coach/client relations specialist within the mutual funds dept. while I’m still fairly new to the industry, the promotion came with a ONE DOLLAR raise. While I’m grateful for the added responsibility and chance to work more closely with my team, I’m starting to feel like I should be looking elsewhere. The pay was a slap in the face for all that I was looking to do within the role,. Any thoughts??

Product Manager offer is 120k salary, sign on bonus of 15k. 4 YOE total. Undergrad degree in computer science. Am I underpaid? This is a legit question lol. I’ve only done federal contracting/consulting work.

I spent a year in tax investigations where I believe I was thriving ( I was going to be an assistant manager in July 2023), I had a lot of assistant manager jobs, I even drafted a Code 9 report to HMRC which my manager said was 80% of an actual report, he then added the 20% and submitted it.
After I realised I couldn't maintain all the unpaid overtime I was working I decided to take a turn and go to compliance, so now I work in CT compliance. I feel very surpressed.

How many firms is too many? I’ve practiced 13 years. Since I was a 1st year associate, every 3 years or so I’ve been recruited for another opportunity that is hard to pass up. I’ve been at my current firm 3 years and got the call again, again about an opportunity that is hard to pass up. I don’t like having a reputation of a flight risk, but this keeps happening. Should I decline to pursue the opportunity just so I have a longer track record at my current firm? This will be my 4th if I move.
