In order to make the pivot into Supply Chain Management, you should discuss your operations experience and how it has prepared you for the role. You should highlight your skills in inventory management, logistics, importing, and purchasing. Additionally, if you have experience working with suppliers or in Asia, this would be a great asset to discuss in interviews. Supply Chain Management is a global field and having experience working in different regions can be advantageous.

Your experience in inventory management, supplier onboarding, logistics, and purchasing are all relevant experience that you can discuss in an interview. You should also highlight your ability to think strategically and manage projects effectively. In terms of moving into a Supply Chain management role from a manufacturing environment, Asia is definitely an option. There are many companies in Asia that are looking for experienced professionals to manage their supply chains.
