I've got a leader that keeps insinuating I should cancel my personal appointments to accommodate her preferred meeting schedule. I'm salaried, work all hours to get things done, and sometimes appointments have to happen during the work day. She has a tendency to cancel meetings or not show up. I'm holding my ground but it's hard! How do you handle things like this?

I’ve been working for a company for 25yrs, looking for advancement. I’m considered an SME, managing people, Vendors and working on large system conversions. Have provided long term goals. When requesting feedback I’m told I’m on the right path, no suggestions on what to improve. I asked about timelines for advancement and not being given anything concrete. Recently interviewed with another company as a Vendor Mgmt partner. Individual contributor, high visible position with potential. Thoughts?
