Well, you can always try to negotiate. You could bring it to their attention that the scope of work has changed so perhaps the compensation should change. There’s a decent chance this conversation won’t go your way but it’s worth a try.
I've never been in that position, and would consider it a pretty serious red flag. Though, I get that most of us are no longer in the position to bail because of a red flag or two. It would be very reasonable to push back in that situation, but be prepared they could rescind the offer if they think one of the other candidates will take it.
Kinda red flag, but I think when you get an offer there is room to negotiate because it’s been changed vs. What you initially saw
Different interviewers may see the role through a different lens which is why they may all be interviewing you. I wouldn’t go by what one individual interviewer says but go by the job description as the source of truth. If you are hearing major aspects of the job that are not in the description I would bring it up. But would avoid John said I will be doing this and Joe says I’ll be doing this. If what John and Joe told you is in the job description then I doubt they would budge.
