In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?

I started in my first SDR position in a small SaaS start up few months ago. I am the only SDR and their first ever.
The base salary is ok but I haven’t received any commission structure up to this day.
I book an average of 3-5 demos per week. People always show up, but the thing that worries me is that I do not have a way to track how many meetings I book in our CRM,and to be honest I feel like I didn’t get the best training overall. Should I start looking somewhere else? Thoughts?

What’s the best way to deal with a partner that prefers working solo? I’ve been in community corrections for almost two years. I love what I do in case management, for inmates working on reentry but I would like to explore other job roles and start making a better income. I’m really interested in tech and project management roles. I just do not know where to start far as getting my foot in the door with either industry. I have a BA criminology, I adjust to quick changes, I thrive in fast paced environments and I learn quick. I have a great work ethic.
