I’ve never really had money to spend on myself. I landed a well- paying job out of college and have been working for a month now. I spent my last few paychecks enjoying myself when I could (going out with friends, dinners, and revamping my wardrobe). I’ve paid my credit card in full each month, but I haven’t put money aside for saving and I’m completely aware that once I get my feet settled in my new apartment that this will need to change. Should I be worried about myself?

Don't worry at all. Just enjoy it for a bit - i'm sure you've earned it. In a few months, set up automatic pulls from your checking account into savings/investment

It's ok to splurge on yourself once in a while, just don't get carried away. I'd create a budget and make sure that some money is being put away into savings/investment/retirement, etc. That way you'll know what's left at the end of the month and can decide whether to spend it on something fun or not.

Thoughts on states taxing student loan forgiveness as income ? I admit I don’t know much about tax law but I feel like it shouldn’t be considered income unless they’re sending out checks to everyone. 10k off the balance of my loan shouldn’t be considered income.

What do you all think of fundrise and start engine Real estate Reit ? Any experience? Would you invest here if you didn’t have the time to actually buy and rent properties? Any insight is welcome.
Thanks

JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

I guess they didn’t like bleeding so they’re trying to manipulate the markets in their favor AGAIN.

Curious to know how much your student loans were when you graduated from your program, how much you’ve paid off so far, and your age. If you have any varying factors too, like kids, income range, etc. Just trying to see if I’m on track or slacking in life. I am 34 yo, i graduated with 95k in student loans, i currently have 85k left and i make 85k in come. I’m also a single mom with two kids. Just praying for 100% student loans forgiveness. Wishful thinking???

I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.

Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?

Can anyone please guide?
