I’ve noticed a lot of people view data analyst roles as a pure “thinking” job, but a big part of it is actually trust-building. Cleaning data, validating numbers, reconciling sources, answering “why doesn’t this match?” over and over. The insight work only matters if people believe the data.

For other analysts: does most of your time go to analysis, or earning confidence in the numbers first?
