I've now had 3 recruiters and 2 ECDs reach out to me out of the blue and said, "Wow...I haven't seen a book with good headlines and concepts in like...forever". (Their words, not mine, but I'll take the compliment). This made me wonder if what used to make us all the same now makes us that rare unicorn that people may want to hire? Or am I kidding myself? Reason I ask is I've had numerous fellow CDs say that the kids these days just don't have those skills. But I do and will work for cheap.

I’m looking for some advice and/or to vent a little. I’ve been looking for a sales job specifically to pivot into tech sales and I’m getting rejected non stop and it’s really starting to weigh on me and ruin my confidence.

The positives are, I’m actually getting interviews- about 5 so far, I get to the later/last rounds but can’t seem to close the deal. I’ve tried learning from each experience, and taking that as growth for the next interview but it hasn’t worked.
I have 7yrs total sales exp.

When sending a cold email to a recruiter, should you include a reason why you’re interested in the agency? Or keep it short and sweet with your book, resume and what you’re looking for?

Has anyone faced with unemployment with no prospects struggling with suicidal thoughts? I feel like the places I’m interviewing are within my capabilities, I mean, I’m getting the interviews. But nothing is hitting. Does anyone have any positive coping mechanisms?

I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.

Do you all think I will be rejected?

I have my first round interview (phone case) with McKinsey tomorrow. Any tips on what to expect with the phone case? Will there be an introduction (elevator pitch + why McKinsey?) or will they jump straight into the case? It’s only 30 mins.
