I’ve officially hit the salary cap for my role after 7 years. HR says there’s no room for growth unless I apply for a higher position, but there are zero internal openings. Should I wait for a vacancy, or is it a good time to look elsewhere?

How long should it take a company to check references? It's been 2weeks since I've provided this info, I'm anxious everyday. Assume I did not get the position & move on? Losing hope- really need this.

I applied for the TA position through corporate and would like some insight. the company is short staffed and my site specifically does not have good TA retention. Should I specialize in Blockchain or AI? I’m a freshman in a CS degree and I can’t decide. And recently I started getting project calls which Accenture is aiming to have us to be tagged to a project even before joining Accenture to avoid bench time.
