That's a good point, real confidence comes from knowing your subject and your material and being able to convey it clearly. To prep for interviews I've generally gone over what I suspect will be talked about, but I'm careful not to overprepare. I want to be thinking on my feet and not sounding robotic or rehearsed.
I maybe a bit of dork here, but I still go through leetcode questions before interviews just in case. Though I havent seen much of this lately. I mean Home Depot, really, youre asking me LeetCode questions 😆
This comment made me laugh so hard. Sometimes they do just copycat for the sake of doing like the famous companies do, while what they really need is someone who can translate the business need into a technical implementation effectively
This is a great suggestion, people often underestimate how structured and rigid interviews can be, one good way of practicing without sounding robotic is making mock interviews with a friend!
