I've recently joined a project at IBM where the manager committed to developer post midnight availability without informing us during the recruitment. It's a pure development project. The existing system is the worst design & code I've ever seen in my life. We are working somewhere between 9am-12am, sometimes even the entire duration. Unpaid overtime - no comp off and not allowed to claim shift.
Client has unrealistic deadlines and there are a plethora of major issues.
How do I deal with this?

Reason: project I was allocated not good and I initially rejected project but they forcefully moved to the project.I have asked multiple times to replace the project after that I have resigned.

What's the difference between band 7a and 7b?

I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.
