I've seen people talking about including their volunteer work on their resumes, but my volunteer work has mostly been walking in walks to end Alzheimer's and Relay for Life. So, do I put participated in Relay for Life on my resume? I didn't organize anything. I just showed up.

I NEED HELP WITH CREDIT SCORE issues: Two months ago my credit score went down by 30 to 40 points due to dad missing credit card payment by a day (i got added to as authorized user on his credit card for me to build credit but now I’m filled with regret). I was devastated by it. This past month I have been making more payments and paid off my aug statement in full thinking it will boost my credit score. I work as a director at the moment. Requested a raise and was told no raise till September then asking one more time for the raise and was turned down. Have teachers with no experience and qualifications getting a raise. Bottom line I’m annoyed and frustrated. By the way owner is using my qualifications to cover two school locations but refuses to raise although I need it. Now I want to leave. Am I overreacting?

Recently another teammate, who has only been here for 3 months was offered between 80-85k to retain her, but she declined to make 6 figures as a COO. I, in-turn, am asking for an increase in salary. We just started a specialty program where I am doing 2-3 times the expected amount of work and now EXCEEDING

I am going to work in public accounting and I feel like when I look up how much I will make after being promoted or early promoted it’s very cryptic. Can anyone tell me the standard salary % increase in PA after your first, second, third promotion?

I'd like to get into Big 4 consulting ideally when full-time. I'm an engineering student - I'm not going to be interested in IT audit. Summer 2023 will be the summer after sophomore year, so I'll be declining the full-time return offer and I'll be looking for a different internship after junior year.

I was thinking of taking a lower position at some company and working myself up maybe BI to DA. I would like to work as a dev but a lot of the small companies are offering salaries significantly under 100 for jr dev roles. Any thoughts?

Just wanted to brag a little. This may not be much for some but I’m super excited. I graduated with a B.A in chemistry July 2022 and I start my job this Monday with a salary of 60K!
