Use Google Lens’ “exact match” and Pinterest has a similar tool. I’m sure that isn’t comprehensive but it would rule out a chunk of what’s out there.
If you really want to be safe. I’d try to find an Art Buyer who worked at ad agencies (an increasingly rare role) and pick their brain on the legality/liability of all this
To be sure I understand, you used AI to make a book cover for your ebook, correct? I’ll assume yes. If another artist put their artwork into chatgpt then they must not care if it is output for others’ commercial use. You never know what was used in the training of these agents but when artists upload their works to them they know they run the risk of it being used in the future w/o licensing. You however don’t / can’t hold a copyright for the output because it was machine made.
Wow, thinking artists are “putting their artwork into chapgpt” is a baaaaad sign. I thought production people were supposed to know, I don’t know, copyright?
