Just a quick note to mention how fast companies return to business as usual after layoffs. Some people lose their jobs, and two minutes later, the rest of the company carries on as if nothing happened. It's like that scene in Star Wars when somebody is killed in the bar, and then a second later, the musicians start playing again. Something to remember and ponder when deluding ourselves into thinking that we might be indispensable.

My joining date at EY GDS is in September. By now, I have uploaded required documents and also I had a BGV done by FADV. However, even after completion of address verification, I received a mail stating that my address verification was unsuccessful and I was asked to share my permanent address. I did so and also shared my Aadhar as a proof of my residence to the FADV POC .This was done more than 14d ago but still no reply. How do I know if my BGV is done? HR is not responding .
