Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!
Do you regret accepting an early promotion?
Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

RSU: 160k/4 years (Here is where I think it is low)

YOE: 3.5 years US / 6.5 overall(similar roles)

Yeah im at the top of the cohort. The whole cohort thing sucks, they had a perfect way to screw everyone with this model.

lol.... this firm is a complete joke. the cohort model is terrible. the only way it works is if they give us all 10% more and leave associates 1 at the same rate now.
So when they promote you with no raise, how does that conversation go? "Hey here's a promotion and we expect more of you but you'll be staying at the same rate"....dafuq?
they throw a one time 2% "bonus" on top of your bonus.
@Deloitte1, yeah pretty much it was like hey you are great, phenomenal year for you. Promotion and ranked tier 1 and not many people were given that, but here's the band for compensation now, you are at the bottom of it, so since you are already in the band you will not be seeing any increase in compensation. And here is what we expect of you this year....
