Just recd an offer for "Project Delivery Specialist". Have 8 years of prior experience as a Business Analyst. What salary should I be asking/negotiating ? What's the process of getting assigned to a project once I accept the offer. They haven't really mentioned on what the process is for getting assigned to a project. What should I expect the first few weeks during the onboarding process ?

EY GDS - in pipeline 19 fix+1.9 var (my preference due brand name and wfh as of now and low cost of living in noida)

Iris -19 lpa 18.3 fix (behind ey GDS) -direct client onboarding

Cognizant consulting - 19.5 fix + 1 lac var (gurgaon more expensive) EY Cognizant

In weekend checked out VTP Peagusus project in Kharadi possession 2025. Project looks promising but when visited the site accept for the towers rest all be it roads or daily basis shops nothing is there yet but they say that till the time of possession roads and everything will be functional. The rate for 750 sqft carpet 2bhk they are giving for 74lacs and possession is 2023 May. Another 2025 possession 850 sqft carpet 2bhk for 79lacs.Hardly any difference in rate per sqft. Finished my loop for a marketing role 2 weeks ago, and got an email the next day that they wanted to give me an offer. Had my initial call with recruiter to put the offer together. It was lower than I expected, and we ended that call positively as I needed some time to consider, and we agreed to follow up in a few days. Help me ask for a raise in my upcoming performance review? In sum, my company’s HQ is in Texas and I feel I’m being paid a Texas wage when I live in Los Angeles (the role is remote). We do have a San Francisco office and I want to ask my boss to match me what staff are making there. As that’s more comparable. In his words “you were hired into the firm, not a specific project. We see you here long term... With the exception of PDM model” 😅

How does company phone eligibility work within PDM? Based on level, need, or no-go across the entire delivery model?

Can you help explain why a team would be able to afford hiring an individual under PDM at a higher salary but unable to offer the same package under the Traditional route?

For context, I’m currently negotiating for a role and have expressed some of my concerns. My recruiter has been very helpful, but I’d like to better understand the reasoning before making my decision. The offer is $100k for PDM, but $85k max if brought on as Traditional.

When do I get assigned to a project? What does that process look like ? How long does this orientation go on for ? I'm in the middle of a background check with Deloitte for a Project Delivery role. In the background check application I listed my previous employers - Cognizant/Teksystems etc but my resume only had the client names I worked at . Does this pose a problem if Deloitte HR compares my resume to the background check form ? Also my title within cognizant might have been an associate but my resume mentions the designation for the client. Is this a reason for concern? Will they ask me to justify it ?

In the last PDM town hall, they said they were going to lower utilization targets for those that work on projects with capped hours. For those people, have you seen your utilization target lowered? I haven’t seen shit change for me.
