I heard EY did not have any layoffs, but also had no bonuses, whereas I Deloitte had some layoffs, but I still had some bonus as a midlevel performer. Source: my brother is a manager in Advisory at EY
BCG - yes
to be clear, BCG did what many of us would consider layoffs. people weren’t voluntarily leaving at the projected rates (obviously, who is going to quit their job now?), so they increased “performance based” involuntary separations to meet their turnover target.
