Keep seeing “Experience in coding (R/Python) and familiarity with SQL” in job description requirements.
I think I get how SQL is used in the job. But what does “experience in coding” mean — Is it web scraping, data cleaning, data analysis & visualization? Or something else?

Context if it helps: I’m looking at Biz Ops Analyst & Strategy Associate jobs at tech/startup-y co’s (eg Youtube, Oscar, Bird) for exit after 2 yrs of consulting out of ugrad.
