Freelancing as a junior with 1 year of experience. Have not got a single book worthy piece. Is going freelance dumb ? Risky? Both? Just trying to gauge whether I should wait for a full time offer.

I'm a brand new attorney (passed the Feb 2021 bar) who started an in-house counsel position a few months ago (where my focus is negotiating agreements for the sale of my company's software). If you are US licensed attorney, how do you handle questions on GDPR? I am a junior in privacy practice in Big Law and am just trying to navigate this correctly. Was just on a call where a U.S. attorney gave a bunch of GDPR advice, and I just didn't realize that was ok?
