Yes.
EY1 did better explaining below. But look at your state’s website is the bottom line. Ideally- you’d spend 100% of your time on the job search rather than working less-sustainable part-time gigs. There’s a very high cost involved in time+costs to do an app based job.
Good on you for finding work. Report your weekly earned income to the state unemployment compensation office and ask if it falls below the income threshold. You may still qualify for partial or full benefits. In the event of an overpayment from the state you may need to return some of the money. Be honest and it won't be a big deal.
You Qualify OP? If you had a loss of income due to lay off/covid-19 you qualify for for the unemployment insurance. If you lost a w2 job you qualify for the state unemployment insurance like usual + the pandemic enhanced unemployment till July. If you lost a gig job, you qualify for the pandemic insurance till July.
To learn more go to your state unemployment website and apply!
Sorry meant you Qualify OP! *
No- you have a job. Hence employed
OP means hazard pay and it’s a real thing
There is not an income threshold there is a hours work threshold. The UI compensates loss of hours not earnings.
