Anyone a manager? I’m recently diagnosed (26F) and I can’t help but beat myself up everytime I fall short of my to do list. Makes me feel like a huge disservice to my team. Is there any industry recognition for poc creatives the way adage and others recognize creatives?

My dad who lives in Asia just announced that he had a medical issue. I’m starting to enter the age where I’m going to take care of him financially. It’s a $2,000 hospital bill which in the US is nothing compared to what it represents there (which he can’t afford). He’s going to be fine! Just wanted to share with this group as many of you can understand what it feels like to support your parents when they’re old, not the other way around. I feel so blessed I can help him. 🙏🏽

Counterpoint: I’m one of the few POC at a large agency and it’s really dope to be seen as an example of why agency diversity makes the work better. Any struggle outside of that is minor.

Do you have a mentor? I’m in the autumn of my career and I’ve had a  modicum of success in production and it’s time to give back.
