Let me know if I’m being too hasty. So it’s been 4 months since I started this job, but within those four months, the role of what I was hired to do and the team I was brought into have changed. It was no longer about creating the work. It was about fixing the holes to keep the business afloat week after week without any let-up. My original team has either been moved off to another account, removed completely, or put their two weeks in, especially my partner! Its making me want to jump ship too.

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
