Let's talk CDA as well I feel the amount of work we do isn't commensurate with the wages AT ALL!
Ok
I've seen people with way less experience make 2$ shy of not more than me
Finding a job isn't hard but finding one stable where not working tirelessly and damn near all day everyday with benefits is harder
Received my RDA in 2013, and my orthodontic assistant permit in 2015. I have over 10 years of dental assisting experience exclusively in orthodontics. I currently live in San Jose California, for a privately owned orthodontist. We work four days a week. The practice has 10 employees. My benefits are paid holidays, one week paid time off after one year two weeks paid time off after two years, 401(k) with contribution, medical stipend of $100 per month. Four paid sick days per year. CPR and infection control continuing education is also provided. Our uniforms are provided, and I make $33.50 an hour.
Anyone in the Louisville, Southern Indiana area? I work for a University and we can not even get people to even apply for Assistant positions because of low wages. One floor is down 8 positions.
In Calgary AB, wages are low. I make $26 per hour.
Anyone else in Calgary finding wages low
I as a surgical dental assistant make … $19 an hour
Any position should be measured with stats for their performance and irregardless of their years of experience they should be paid on performance.
It means a lot to owner that you bring it up, builds human connection. Don’t be afraid of ur boss!
